How to Make a Claim With Besure: 5 Claims FAQs 

The process of filing a claim with a traditional insurance company can be a confusing and frustrating process, even more so when the claim is denied. At Besure, we are focused on making the claims process as simple, straightforward, and fair as possible. 

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about our claim process: 


1. How do I file a claim?

If you want to file a claim as a member of a Besure pool, all you have to do to start is click the ‘Submit Claim’ button. This will take you to our simple and quick 3-Step Claim Submission Form.


The steps are as follows: 

  • Explanation: You have to input the amount of your claim, select the date on which the damage, loss, or unfortunate event occurred, as well as any other relevant information. 
  • Evidence: You will then upload any of the documents required by your pool to submit a claim including documents or pictures. 
  • Decision: Based on the explanation and evidence, the jurors of the community court will decide whether or not to pay your claim. 

Note: All evidence that is uploaded is stored securely and will only be temporarily viewable to the jurors. This ensures your information is fully protected. 


2. When Do I Have to Submit a Claim?

You should try and submit your claim as soon as possible after the incident or loss. All claims must be submitted during the month in which they occurred. There is a deadline of 2 days past the end of the month. 


3. When do the Claims Get Paid? 

At Besure, we understand that you’ve already suffered enough, which is why we try to make the claims process as fast as possible. Approved claims are paid 6-8 days after the end of the month. 

4. How Many Claims Can I Make? 

All pool members are allowed to make one claim submission during the coverage period. That’s why it’s so important to only make a claim when you have suffered from a significant loss. 


Note: Whether approved or denied, once you have made a claim, you won’t be able to make another. 


5. What do I Do After I’ve Submitted a Claim? 

Once you have submitted your claim, whether or not it is denied or approved is in the hands of your pool’s community court. Remember, these are members who know the risks you face and share the same passion as you, so the process will be as fair as possible.
